January update.........

Hi there
A little late but here we are!
Majella and I arrived in Florida late last night. We are going to be doing shows here in mid to late February and we came down early to do some radio and television promotion for the tour. We spent most of January in Tenerife with beautiful weather and a relaxing time which we really enjoyed.
The 28th of January was my 30th anniversary in show business. I can hardly believe that it has been 30 years since my first concert with my sister Margaret in the Ragg outside Thurles in Co. Tipperary. I have enjoyed so much through those years and I thank you all for your support throughout. On the evening before the 27th, the Sunday World newspaper held an awards show in Mullingar and they honoured me in recognition of my time in the business and my worldwide success. It was a wonderful night and there were a whole host of other entertainers from all over Ireland who received rewards also. It was a terrific evening and I really enjoyed seeing and hearing everyone perform.
We will be here in Orlando until next week when we will travel to Nashville for our show in the Ryman Auditorium, which as you know, I am really looking forward to!!
I'm looking forward to seeing many of you over the next month be it in Nashville, Florida or the Carolinas. hope everything is good with you and take care, until we meet again. God bless........
