April Update

Hello there
As I write, I am in Dublin and Daniel is in England. He did 2 shows in Bournemouth which finished last night. He has a photo shoot to do tomorrow and then he will be back home. I was talking to him this morning and he said the shows went well.
As most of you already know the "Daniel O Donnell Visitors Centre" will be opening this weekend in Dungloe, Co Donegal. It will display all of the memorabilia that has been gathered throughout Daniels singing career. It will also tell the story of his life from the beginning. The reason that he decided to do it was because we had all this stuff that Daniel would never let me display and it was just sitting in storage which I thought was a real shame. A friend of ours, Pat Gallagher, was opening new premises and suggested that he could dedicate an area to displaying the various items and that it may help to bring some tourists to the area. It would also be nice for all Daniels fans to see all the awards and accolades that he has achieved during his career. So it will be officially opened this sunday at 3pm by Daniel himself. There will be some other performers present and I'm sure plenty of music and song. Should be a good day.
Daniel and I are then off to Tenerife for a few weeks holiday. This is when his real "time off" begins!!
I finally went on a bit of a training session for my laptop and I have managed to update the photos section!!!! Hurray!! Sorry that it has taken so long. To be honest, we don't really take that many photos ourselves, probably because other people are taking them, so I don't really have that many!! Anyway, I will try and keep up this time!!
