May and June Update

Hi there
Well, I suppose if Daniel is having some time off then I'll take some too!!!!
Only kidding but once again I'm late. I was just sitting here tonight and wondered when I had updated the website last. I couldn't believe it when I realised that I had completely missed May! To be honest, there really isn't much to tell you. We are both in Donegal at the moment having just returned from Tenerife. We had a lovely break there, played a bit of golf (I'm trying my hand at it with not much success!!) and the weather was beautiful. What more could you want?!?!! Daniel played lots of cards and got plenty of sun.
On Friday next, Daniel will be presented with "The Freedom Of Donegal" and a civic reception will be held in his honor here in Donegal. It is the highest honor that a county can bestow on a person. Daniel is delighted and really looking forward to it because any award that he receives from his home county is always very special to him.
In July Daniel is going back to school!!! He is going to try and learn some more of the Irish language in the hope that he will be able to converse with a bit more ease. I think he is very brave because it's a hard language to tackle. I really would love to be able to speak Irish but I am struggling with Spanish at the moment! Maybe in the future, who knows!
The visitors centre here in Dungloe is going really well. It has had no less than 400 visitors every week since it opened! We are delighted that so many people have travelled here to visit it. It has really given the town of Dungloe a lift and lots of people are saying how beneficial it has been already. Thanks again to everyone that has been and hopefully we can welcome many more.
